January

10 Online Meetings via ZOOM platform for all volunteers, promoted by GVV National.
The main theme of this first training cycle is "Identity and Service – Lay Vincentian Volunteers in the Church Today."
This marks the beginning of a two-year journey, with the second year focused in particular on exploring the role of women in the Church.
The readings and reflection prompts are organized into major themes, starting from a message by Paul VI to the Vincentian volunteer congress, to rediscover our roots through the words and guidance of St. Vincent, returning to the Church’s Magisterium through conciliar documents and, finally, to the present day, with the words of Pope Francis and the emerging needs of our time that must be understood, enriching our role with meaning.
The National President writes: I am certain that your participation in this journey will be meaningful. From group work online or in small groups, or through personal commitment to formation, documents, proposals, and insights will emerge. In the face of the pandemic and economic crisis, we respond united in heart and stronger through greater awareness.
(The documents can be found in the Association’s magazine: *Annali della carità* 2020, issues no. 2 and no. 3 – see under Publications).
